| Bio: | You want to know about *me*? How brave are you?! Well (considers for a long moment), I'm a thirty-something, who's old enough to know better and still to young to care. I do role playing (table, live and computer), into major amounts of writing (be it fan fiction, hopefully to be published novels, and articles for publication). I received my Bachelors in Liberal Arts and Science in May 2004. My areas of interest in history are Native American History and ancient civilizations, especially Mesopotamia, Sumeria and Egypt. I really have this deep, abiding interest in 18th Dynasty Egypt (Tutankhamun, etc.) and Hellenistic Civilizations, which is now my main focus, especially Alexander and the Ptolemaic dynasty. As for the rest of me, well, I've got family, but not the husband and children type family, lots of friends who I count on for moral support and a good laugh as well as the pre-requisite shoulder to bawl on when needed. I like old movies (especially musicals), classic rock (especially The Beatles), country music, I like books, be they Harry Potter or mushy romances or Louis L'Amour westerns or the latest treatise on Egypt garment making. I participate in Renaissance faires and have been a historical re-enactor both volunteer and paid at museums, fairs and festivals. I dress casual in jeans and t-shirt. I'm not preppy, I'm not rich, I'm barely lower middle class, but I make ends meet. I'm fairly happy with myself, so I figure I'm doing better than some and worse than others. What else can I say?
